This was the first time I had been to The Gambia, i had no idea what to expect and knew that I would take an open mind. From the moment we arrived it was clear that we would be treated with very special care and respect. Such amazing people !
I have learnt a huge amount about the cultures, languages, how dancing shows appreciation and also how wonderful the food is. I loved every minute of this trip and will be going back as soon as possible. I feel that The Gambian way of life has a lot to teach the west. I’m looking forward to the 2019 festival already………
